Retha and her new bike

Yes, finally Aretha has a new bike. This bike is as a present from her grandmother (oma), aunty Irene, and uncle Didis (cecek). She loves it so much.

ART : MAKE A COW

I just copy this art activity from my friend's blog. Her blog is very inspiring (http://www.lievell.blogspot.com/). After postpone so many times, last night i bought a black construction paper. I've already prepared the cottons and also the glue.

Objectives:
Practice her motoric skills
Recognize a cow (sapi )

Preparation
Prepare black construction paper
Glue, scissor, and cottons

How to do:
Cut the black construction paper into cow bodyshape
apply some glue into cow body
Put some cottons into cow body

Aretha help me to put some cottons in to body cow, but she refused to do it anymore since she didn't like it when the cottons stick to her fingers because of the glue. So i'm the one who continiue put the cottons :)

Art : Fish

Last night we bought some origami paper and also blue and red construction paper. I've plan to make a fish shape. This is also copy from my friend's blog.

Objectives :

Know about fish shape

Circle shape

Colours
Prepare :
Black construction paper
Origami paper
Scisor
Glue

How to do :
Cut black construction paper in to fish shape
Cut origami paper with varieties colours (circle shape) and using glue to stick it to fish shape

RUN & STOP

This week  sunday morning, aretha and me played together in the litte park, near our house. Retha rode her new bike and we stop at the park.
We played with stones and counted  them one by one.
After that, i told retha to run followed behind me. After several steps, i will told her to stop and pretend as a statue for a minutes. And i told her to run again...and stop again..After several times, i saw her already understand, the concept between stop and run.
It was so fun played with her. I love it.

A pray from a mother (for her daughter's special day)

I pray to Lord,

Dear Lord, I am so grateful you saw us through her birth. Now i humbly to pray for blessing as she lives upon this earth. Bless her every pathway wether she run, or walk or crawl. God bless her health and wellness and her spirit most.

Happy birthday our little girl,  you know we luv u so much. We know soon or later you will grow up, and i'm wondering how can i keep watch on you like today? But i know, i will wisper a pray whenever i can. A mother knows what prayer can do. In sickness and health prayers brought you through

SNAP SHOT THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

Aretha 2nd birthday

We decided only have a family dinner to celebrate Aretha 2nd birthday. I choosed vegetarian restaurant, since my father doesn't eat meat anymore. The restaurant's name is "Dharma Kitchen" such a nice and cozy restaurant at Central Park, 1st floor. All my big family came and surprisingly, this time they were not late :)

I also invited some of my best friends  (sania, juca, Aretha's step mother, Rosa, Carlina)

My friends also came just in time. Only Ci Irene and Didis who came late. Aretha was very happy, she knew that she's became a center of attention that day.

After everybody finish their dinner, i prepared the cake and we sang happy birthday for Aretha and told her to blow the candle. She was very exciting and always smile :)

I was happy could celebrate Aretha's birthday party with all special persons, and knowing that they are also love aretha so much.

Cut the Fruits

I bought a toy for Aretha. This toy can help Aretha to learn about name of fruits. Also to improve her soft motoric skills.

I bought this toy at C4 toystore, only for Rp 40.000, almost the same with the one that sell in ELC, but of course in very different price :)

We don't need the expensive one, if we can get the cheaper one and get the same result right?

She's so into with this toys..always say "potong..potong" it's mean" cut..cut... She still can not mention all the fruits name. She just remember pisang (banana), jeruk (orange) and apel (apple) . I  must help her to remember the others name (strawberry, corn, manggo and also grapes)
